Garden Baskets for the Green (or not so green) Thumb Gardener

September 19, 2008

Tell someone you’re thinking of them with colorful garden baskets. It doesn’t matter if they have a green thumb or not because with garden baskets you can decide how much green to include. For those who do not have ample space to grown a traditional garden, send them garden baskets which include herb seeds such as basil, thyme and oregano. Herbs can easily be grown indoors during the colder months and then set outdoors during the warmer months. You might also include a decorative tea cup or mug with garden baskets, or something less personal such as a small spade and shovel.

Other items you might include in garden baskets are garden gloves, a wide brimmed gardening hat, a small book about growing an herb or flower garden, and small pots to start growing the seeds. Garden baskets make great gifts for any occasion but also for Mother’s Day, Grandparents’ Day, or birthdays and anniversaries. Give garden baskets to your friends and loved ones; remind them you are always thinking of them!

September 12, 2008

Some people are foregoing expensive long distance vacations and either staying home or traveling closer to home. So start your week or weekend vacation off from a selection of breakfast gift baskets for two or three or the entire family. Tell your friends and family that you’re “leaving” for vacation, and silence your phones, unplug the televisions or just turn it off and set your DVR to record your favorite programs and order yourself a few breakfast gift baskets for a stay-at-home vacation.

Breakfast gift baskets are a fun, sweet way to make you feel you’re staying at a luxurious hotel or resort. Select from pancake and muffin mixes with authentic maple syrup or croissants and bagels with an assortment of individual jams and cream cheese to feed your whole family. Are you a coffee drinker? Why not indulge in something different than the day to day coffee blend. Several aromas are available ready to brew. Try a coffee mix to make iced coffee for the kids or smoothie mixes for a healthier choice. Don’t forget to include a pair of Gund Believe coffee mugs too.

Start your vacation morning with different breakfast gift baskets every day, you’ll feel pampered without the additional costs of a hotel and gas.
