Tips For Choosing The Right Corporate Gift Basket To Reflect Your Business

March 19, 2009

When engaging in business activities with other companies, it is a common practice to present that company’s representative with a gift of some sort. Corporate gift baskets are a wonderful way to show your appreciation while promoting your company.

The key is to make the representative or potential customer remember you. Your corporate gift basket could include items that can be used or presented in an office setting that others will find interesting or appealing. Keep in mind you also want others who see them to ask about their origin which will lead to a verbal exchange about your company.

Fruit baskets always work well when giving corporate gifts. They can include a variety of fruits that can be enjoyed by all office staff. Other corporate gift baskets include fruit, gourmet chocolates and even types of coffees.

Other gift baskets can include different types of coffees and teas, along with an assortment of coffee mugs baring the name of your company. By adding the mugs you are including promotional items that can be used over and over again and will most likely be sported on a desk or shelf which will then prompt the type of conversation mentioned above.

When putting together a corporate gift basket, consider the number of people who will be receiving it. If it is only one person, think of items he or she might enjoy based on your conversations and business dealings. If the basket will go to several people in an organization, think of items they might collectively enjoy. The options are endless and the gift basket can be remembered for a long time to come.

August 1, 2008

Are you a corporate executive or their secretary? If so, here’s a sure fire way to seal that contract you have been working on for weeks with your aggressive client. Send them an executive gourmet gift basket to say “Thanks for meeting with us” or “Looking forward to working with you in the future,” or your own personal message. How should you fill the executive gourmet gift baskets? There are several items to include in your unique gift basket. Most importantly, include your business card and another promotional marketing product from your company, such as an executive pen set or calendar. Then you might want to include a couple bottles of fine wine. Do you recall the bottle of wine you both shared over your last dinner meeting? Send your prospective client a bottle or two with a wine bottle opener along with a box of chocolates from a local candy store, biscotti or crackers, coordinated cloth napkins and an assortment of cheese spreads. Other food items that your prospective client might enjoy in their executive gourmet gift baskets are beef sticks, smoked almonds, or smoked salmon. Also select a large enough basket to accommodate all the items and line it with a nice tablecloth or tissue paper for an aesthetic look. Executive gourmet gift baskets are sure to please even the most finicky corporate gurus.
